All Our very own social secretary & more importantly squash legend - Mr Simon Muir & his team at work are looking to get sponsorship to raise money for the air ambulance service. The challange - "trekfest the beacons" on the 6th of July...
The team will be hiking and in some cases possibly running the 50km “undulating” circular loop in the Brecon Beacons National Park (Mr Muir - I expect to be hearing the stories of you running the whole lot). The route starts at the Brecon show ground and takes the group out on the historic Brecon Canal, before entering the spectacular National Park and the incredible mountain ranges that run through the centre of South Wales and is the infamous training ground of the SAS... (Again - Mr Muir - want to see pics of you dressed as Rambo!) I Think we all will agree - that this is a massively worthy cause - and who knows when we might need to call on the services of the air ambulance....
